Who We Are & How 81bd Began
Around 2019, as interest in online betting started growing across Bangladesh, most platforms were foreign — English-only interfaces, complicated payment methods, and no Bangla-language support to speak of. That's when a small team had an idea: build a platform for the people of Bangladesh, the way people in Bangladesh actually need it.
That vision is what gave birth to 81bd. There's a story behind our name too — the number "81" was chosen to represent the number of upazilas in Bangladesh, symbolizing our commitment to serve every corner of the country. And "bd" — well, everyone knows what that stands for.
We started with nothing more than a small server and a team full of drive. Today, 81bd processes over a hundred thousand bets daily, hosts 500+ games, offers betting markets across 30+ sports, and has active members in all 64 districts of the country. The journey hasn't been easy, but our users have been with us every step of the way.
"We believe online gaming isn't just an industry — it's the right of millions of people in Bangladesh to be entertained. Our goal is to make that right easy, safe, and enjoyable."
— From the 81bd founding teamToday, 81bd is more than just a website — it's a community. From Old Dhaka to the beaches of Cox's Bazar, from the tea gardens of Sylhet to the farmlands of Rangpur — people from every corner of the country come together here to talk about the games they love, place their bets, and win. That connection means more to us than anything else.
What 81bd offers that others don't
The core priorities that shaped how we built this platform.
A fully Bengali experience
From the interface to support — everything is in Bengali. You don't need to know English to use 81bd. Most Live Casino dealers speak Bengali, and for players in Bangladesh, that makes a real difference.
Mobile-First Design
90% of internet users in Bangladesh browse on mobile. The entire 81bd platform is built with that reality in mind — easy to bet and play on smaller screens, fast load times, and light on battery.
Local Payment Methods
BKash, Nagad, and Rocket — you can deposit and withdraw directly through Bangladesh's most widely used mobile banking apps. No crypto, no credit card hassle — just the apps you already know.
Security & Transparency
Our platform uses SSL encryption, two-factor authentication, and certified RNG technology. RTP rates are displayed clearly for every game. Your funds are held in a separate vault — completely ring-fenced from the platform's own operational funds.
Extensive Sports Coverage
Bet on 30+ sports including cricket, football, kabaddi, and e-sports. From BPL, IPL, and Asia Cup to local tournaments, 81bd offers the most comprehensive coverage of any platform in Bangladesh.
24/7 Bangla Support
Knowing you can reach someone in Bengali and get your issue resolved — that assurance matters most to us. Whether it's live chat, email, or phone, our support team is always ready.
Our Story
The road from a small idea to what 81bd is today wasn't always smooth — but every step along the way brought a valuable lesson.

Users at the Centre of Everything

Our stance on responsible gaming
Gaming and betting are meant to be fun — but there's a darker side to them too: addiction. 81bd takes this seriously.
Every page on our platform includes a Responsible Gaming reminder at the bottom. Members can set their own deposit limits, bet limits, or temporary self-exclusion directly from their account. If anyone feels that gaming is having a negative impact on their life, our support team is ready to help — no questions asked.
We believe a happy and healthy player is our greatest long-term asset. That's why responsible gaming isn't just a compliance requirement for us — it's part of who we are.
